The 2018 Geneva International Motor Show is just a few short weeks away, with major car manufacturers from around the globe ready to gather in the Swiss city to display their latest production and concept cars.
Trends in the industry suggest that the focus of the show will likely be on electric vehicles and autonomous technology, although Geneva’s reputation for welcoming performance cars should ensure that more exotic brands will present their latest speed machines as well.
The new Audi A6, Kia's next-generation Ceed, the all-new Mercedes A Class and Toyota's Supra are expected to generate the biggest headlines, but no doubt there’ll also be a surprise or two among the plethora of new production cars and concepts debuting on the floors of the Geneva Palexpo.
The dates for the 2018 Geneva Motor Show are as follows: proceedings kick off with a pair of press days on 6 and 7 March, before doors open to the public between 8 and 18 March. Tickets for which are now available from the show’s official website. The preview events - in which manufacturers treat members of the press to a sneak peek at their show stars - will begin on 3 March.
